The statement, confirming the government’s readiness to evacuate and repatriate Thai nationals from Israel, Iran and nearby regions, came Tuesday amid the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran.

A main support and coordination center was set up with the air force in anticipation of deploying aircraft for immediate evacuation if the situation worsens.

The Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Labor, in collaboration with the armed forces, developed comprehensive contingency plans to ensure the safety of Thai citizens.

The approximately 40,000 Thai workers currently residing and working in Israel have been notified and are under constant coordination with the relevant authorities.

The Thai government is closely monitoring developments and assessing the preparedness of its citizens on the ground to determine the appropriate time for repatriation.

The conflict between Iran and Israel escalated last Friday following Israeli airstrikes on the Persian nation’s territory.
