Pezeshkian noted on his X profile that Iran has always sought peace and calm, but the only way to end the imposed war under the current conditions is the unconditional cessation of aggression and definitive guarantees of an end to the adventurism of Israeli terrorists.

The Iranian news agency Tasnim, which reproduced his statements, informed that the president warned that if the Israeli regime’s aggression does not stop, Iran will respond more severely.

The news agency also recalls that Israel launched an unprovoked war on Iran on June 13 with airstrikes on Iranian nuclear, military, and residential sites, resulting in the deaths of dozens of high-ranking military commanders, nuclear scientists, and citizens.

In response, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force has conducted 16 waves of retaliatory missile strikes on the Israeli regime as of June 20, the news agency concludes.
