The attack occurred on Friday morning, when people’s affluence in Comoros for daily consumption at home was high, the official statement added, according to which a joint detachment of the Police, Special Forces, and Firefighters was deployed to the area to prevent further attacks and address the emergency.
Borno, located in northeastern Nigeria, is the headquarters of the Islamist group Boko Haram, the federal government’s leading enemy. Several presidents have promised to annihilate it without results.
