The military institution announced on its official Telegram channel that 14 of the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were intercepted over the Kursk province, two over the Moscow region, and the remaining four over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Oryol, and Smolensk.
Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov, in turn, informed that two people were injured when a drone hit an apartment building in the Krasnogorsk neighborhood.
Meanwhile, the National Federal Air Transport Agency, Rosaviatsia, reported that temporary operating restrictions have been imposed at two of the four airports in Moscow (Sheremetevo and Vnukovo) to ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights.
The Russian provinces bordering Ukraine, such as Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, and the Peninsula of Crimea, regularly report shelling, drone strikes, and other attacks from across the border, forcing the population to seek shelter elsewhere.
