This was announced last night in a message on his Telegram account by the executive secretary of the Latin American and Caribbean integration bloc, Rander Peña, after concluding a “fruitful virtual working meeting with the national coordinators” of ALBA-TCP.
At the meeting, they reviewed the progress of the AgroAlba and ALBA Azul programs, approved by the heads of State and Government at the XXIV Summit last December in Caracas and the XII Extraordinary Summit last February, as well as the prospects of the Alliance.
“The countries of the alliance expressed the pertinent and urgent need to convene the Summit for peace against war, an initiative presented by President Nicolas Maduro Moros, he stressed.
The Venezuelan diplomat pointed out that the participants reiterated the commitment to continue working on the consolidation of the integrationist vision, in favor of the happiness of our peoples, raised by Commanders Fidel Castro (1926-2016) and Hugo Chavez (1954-2013).
