The military institution announced on its official Telegram channel that 23 of the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down over the Kursk region; 11 over the Rostov region; six over Bryansk; four over Ulyanovsk; three over Belgorod; and three more over Moscow.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin previously informed that three fixed-wing attack drones heading for Moscow were shot down without causing casualties or material damage.
Meanwhile, the National Federal Air Transport Agency, Rosaviatsia, informed that temporary operating restrictions have been imposed again at Vnukovo Airport (one of Moscow’s four airports) and the Kaluga Airport to ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights.
The Russian provinces bordering Ukraine, such as Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, and the Peninsula/Republic of Crimea, regularly report shelling, drone strikes, and other attacks from across the border, forcing the population to seek shelter elsewhere.
