“Ten documents were prepared for signing, in particular, the main areas of cooperation in the sphere of sports will be approved,” the advisor told journalists, adding that a strategic cooperation treaty with the United Arab Emirates and an interim trade agreement with Mongolia will also be signed.
Special attention will also be paid to labeling of goods, liberalization of the single market of services, expansion of Eurasian transport corridors and coordination of key areas of international cooperation, Ushakov detailed.
On Wednesday, Russian Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov announced that free trade zone treaties will soon be signed with Mongolia and the United Arab Emirates.
The EEU is an economic alliance created in 2015 that comprises Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
The Belarusian capital will host the EEU summit on June 26-27. In addition to the member countries, the summit will be attended by Cuba and Uzbekistan as observer states, as well as the United Arab Emirates and Mongolia as guests.
