In the presence of President Masoud Pezeshkian, the commander of the al-Quds Force, General Esmail Qaani, and senior advisor Ali Shamkhani, the funeral took place on the presence of a large crowd in Tehran.
Also in attendance were Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, former Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, and delegations from Bahrain, Iraq, Yemen, and other Arab countries.
The coffins of the martyrs, draped in the Iranian flag, bore images of those who fell during the 12 days of Zionist attacks.
National Security Committee Chairman Ebrahim Azizi emphasized Iran’s refusal to submit to its enemies and reaffirmed its loyalty to the directives of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
In this regard, MP Alireza Salimi described the public participation as a message of unity and unwavering commitment to defending the revolution.
According to official sources, more than 600 people, mostly civilians, lost their lives as a result of the Israeli and US aggression against Iran.
