In a statement, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) condemned the death of Haitham Bassam Abu Issa, who worked at a clinic in the city of Deir al-Balah.
His death brings the total number of PRCS personnel and volunteers killed during the conflict to 50, a deeply shocking figure, stressed the IFRC.
He noted that of this number, at least 30 were killed while being on active duty.
This is a stark reminder of the desperate situation in Gaza, we reiterate our calls: civilians and humanitarian workers must be protected without excuse, he said.
The Gaza Government Press Office reported in late March that the Israeli Armed Forces have killed more than 1,400 health workers in the territory since the beginning of the war.
