Consumer prices stabilized in Germany in the most recent years after inflation reached 8.8 percent at the end of 2022 in the wake of the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.

The current figure is the lowest since October 2024 and is in tune with the European Central Bank’s (ECB) two percent target for the eurozone.
