Wang, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, said that in recent years, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and the BiH Presidency, the two countries have maintained solid political trust and close exchanges, achieving fruitful results in economic and trade cooperation.

Noting that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and BiH, Wang said China is willing to work with the European country to implement the important consensus reached by the heads of state of the two nations and deepen cooperation based on the principles of equality, mutual respect and mutual benefit.

For his part, Cavara praised the concept of building a community of shared future for mankind and the Belt and Road Initiative, both proposed by Xi.

He also affirmed that Bosnia-Herzegovina firmly adheres to the one-China principle and is ready to deepen practical cooperation with Beijing in various fields, so as to push forward new development in bilateral relations.
