The leader expressed his gratitude “for his contribution to the popular essence of #DeporteCubano”.

Every July 2nd, since 1995, the International Day of the Sports Journalist is commemorated to pay tribute to the communication professionals who focus their activity in the world of sport through their information in the press, in all its forms.

The initiative was born from the International Association of Sports Press (AIPS), in order to put emphasis on the work of these information professionals who give visibility and promotion to sport on a daily basis.
