Israeli bombs kill another 32 Palestinians in Gaza

Ramallah, July 2 (Prensa Latina) The Israeli army killed 32 Palestinians and wounded dozens more during various attacks in Gaza, despite US President Donald Trump's announcement regarding Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's decision to accept a truce.

Six citizens were killed and numerous others injured after a bombing targeting tents for displaced people in the southern area of Al-Mawasi, Al Jazeera television reported.

The official news agency Wafa reported that at least 10 Palestinians, including children, were wounded in another raid in the same area.

The source noted that Al-Mawasi was declared a “safe area” by the Israeli Armed Forces; however, it denounced that “it has been bombed repeatedly in recent weeks.”

Four other people, a married couple and their two children, were killed in a similar incident in central Gaza City, and four more, including two minors, were killed in an attack on a home in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood of the same city.

In Deir al-Balah, downtown in Gaza Strip, five people, including two children, were killed in a military raid targeting a group of civilians on al-Barakah Street.

Ten others were killed when an Israeli drone fired on a tent sheltering displaced people near Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital.

Wafa reported that of the 32 deaths since early this morning, 24 were in the city of Khan Yunis.

Yesterday, around 100 Palestinians were killed in the coastal enclave, which has been under fire since October 2023.

Since then, nearly 56,700 have died there and more than 134,000 have been injured, according to official data.
