Cuban Communist Party strengthens actions against US blockade

Havana, July 4 (Prensa Latina) The Politburo of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) is working to find solutions aimed at transforming the country's current situation, which is influenced by the strengthening of the blockade imposed by the United States.

This was stated by the PCC’s Organization Secretary, Roberto Morales, while reporting on the management of the party’s highest leadership body during its 10th plenary session.

The leader emphasized that these have been months of intense work to correct distortions in the economy and move forward on working strategies, “with unity, consciousness, and revolutionary firmness,” the Presidency of the Republic reported on the social network X.

He explained that as part of the Party’s working system, it maintained permanent ties with the people to inform, engage in talks, and contribute to understanding and searching for solutions to problems.

Morales explained that in the first half of the year, the party organization conducted its first round of visits to all of the country’s municipalities, which allowed for meetings with more than 280,000 people in 4,508 workplaces and 747 places.

He also announced that the second round of these visits is currently underway.

The 10th plenary session of the PCC Central Committee will meet until tomorrow, with a broad agenda that includes the cadre policy strategy and the proposed commemorative program for the centennial of the birth of the historic leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro (1926-2016).
