In the conclusions of the event, which, under the theme “Against Media Warfare and Imperialism,” took place from July 4 to 6 in that city, more than 100 delegates from 20 nations who participated virtually or in person reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the Cuban Revolution.

Among the agreements adopted was the need to intensify the denunciation of the criminal economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the US government on that nation, with actions in all possible forums, including parliamentary, governmental, union, and social and human rights organizations.

A call was also made to expand the media campaign, both at the European and global levels, given the importance of highlighting the human impact of these extraterritorial and illegal measures under International Law, aggravated by Cuba’s inclusion in Washington’s State Sponsors of Terrorism (SSOT) list.

In this regard, it was decided to establish a Communications Front to counter systematically the disinformation campaign and media lies against the revolutionary process in that country. This front will be tasked with producing and disseminating accurate content about the Cuban reality, its social achievements, and its resistance.

Among the purposes of this front are to strengthen the coordination of the communications strategy, leveraging all digital platforms and alternative media, as well as to train activists with the necessary knowledge to carry out this task effectively.

A call was made for the organization of massive and creative mobilizations on the International Day against the Blockade against Cuba, on October 27, as well as on other significant dates.
