From his X account, the Foreign Minister drew attention to the world organization’s report on “progress made toward achieving the SDGs,” which “shows that the 2030 Agenda is increasingly far from being fulfilled, despite being unambitious and setting conservative goals,” he wrote.
The minister stated: “It is urgent to move toward a new international order that can address current global problems.”
Issued in July 2025, the report assesses and ranks United Nations (UN) member states based on their performance across the 17 SDGs, stating that global efforts have fallen short of achieving the goals of the 2030 Agenda.
