According to the source, the body of the journalist, who worked for Gaza Youth Radio, was found dead in her home in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood after a military attack.
The news outlet reported that more than 230 media workers have been killed in the coastal enclave since the beginning of the aggression against the territory in October 2023.
This high figure highlights the serious risks faced by media professionals in Gaza because this conflict is one of the bloodiest in history for journalists, it emphasized.
Recently, the Palestinian Journalists’ Union accused Israeli troops of carrying out massacres against the profession in an attempt to hide the truth.
However, it asserted, the blood of our colleagues “will continue to be a beacon illuminating the path to freedom.”
Faced with this situation, the union called on the world to take immediate and effective measures to hold Israeli leaders, both political and military, accountable.
