Sources pointed out that the Israeli soldiers took the detained Syrians to a military base recently established by the occupation forces near Quneitra.
They also confiscated the tractor used by the detainees to transport wood from trees uprooted by Israeli military vehicles.
Last Tuesday, an Israeli force raided the village of Al-Hamidiyah, in the same governorate of Quneitra, coinciding with intense overflights by fighter jets and drones in the south of the Levantine nation.
According to the local news channel “Deraa 24,” four Israeli military vehicles raided the aforementioned town without knowing the reason or recording any arrests.
Israeli attacks against Syria intensified significantly following the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government on December 8.
Israeli forces launched hundreds of air and ground raids against Syrian military sites with the aim of destroying them and preventing the reconstruction of their infrastructure.
Furthermore, Tel Aviv army took control of the buffer zone and subsequently carried out raids into border areas and occupied several towns.
