Referring to Cuba, Arce wrote on his X profile that this “brave nation shares our history of struggle for dignity, sovereignty, and self-determination against neoliberal interests.”
Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel wrote in a message, “We send a warm and strong embrace to the government and people of #Bolivia on the 200th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of this sister nation of Our America.”
“All our support to the Plurinational State in the defense of its sovereignty,” Diaz-Canel reaffirmed.
The Bolivian president also expressed his gratitude for the congratulations and greetings from the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, marking the anniversary.
Arce posted, “Dear President Nicolas Maduro, we received with joy and gratitude your revolutionary greetings from the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (…).”
Delegations from around 40 countries in Latin America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania, as well as international organizations, participated in the commemorative ceremony held on Wednesday.
The commemorations concluded this Thursday with a military parade.
