The gubernatorial candidate for the PIP and the Alianza Pais party in the November 2024 elections, in which he came in second, displacing the traditionalist Popular Democratic Party, was admitted Thursday night after suffering an unexpected health problem.

Undergoing a medical evaluation, Negron reported, the social democratic leader remains under medical observation and is being treated by a team of health professionals in a hospital in San Juan.

Dalmau Ramirez said he “is in good spirits” as he continues his recovery process.

The PIP expressed its gratitude for the expressions of solidarity received and announced that any additional information will be released in due course.
