According to a Facebook post by the island’s organization, the event was held simultaneously in Havana, Cuba, and Asuncion, Paraguay.
The Icaic was represented by its president, Alexis Triana, and the Docpy by its Paraguayan counterpart, Marcelo David Sandoval.
The Cuban Ambassador to Paraguay, Francisco Fernandez and the Secretary of Interinstitutional Relations of Docpy, Miguel H. Lopez, were also presented online for the signin.
On the Cuban side were also the head of the documentary department Arlety Veunes and other managers.
The Hector Garcia Mesa hall, at the headquarters of the Institute, was the protagonist of the important film alliance.
The purpose of the agreement is to establish a general framework for cooperation to promote joint cultural exchange actions in the audiovisual and documentary field.
This agreement will promote technical and vocational training, together with other cinematographic and communicational expressions in terms of the integration of peoples.
