According to the state agency’s database published on its website this Friday, the NGOs “Remembrance, Responsibility, and Future Foundation” and “Demokrati-JA e V,” from Germany; “Zimin Foundation,” from the United Kingdom; and “Stichting Nederlands Helsinki,” from the Netherlands, appear on the list.
These four organizations were previously declared undesirable by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation.
An entity declared undesirable loses the right to create structures and entities in Russia, carry out projects, and disseminate information.
Russian citizens, national institutions, and stateless persons permanently residing in Russia are prohibited from participating in the activities of organizations declared undesirable.
