The source, which requested anonymity, informed that the vessel “Alma,” sailing under the British flag, was damaged by a fire on its upper deck.
It confirmed that the fire was contained and extinguished by the crew, and no injuries were reported among those on board, while the cause of the fire is being investigated.
The incident comes just two days after a similar attack on a ship from the same flotilla, which was also damaged by a drone in the port of the Tunisian capital.
The source insisted that those attacks are attempts to distract and intimidate the GSF mission, but confirmed that the mood among its members is one of continuing their peaceful journey to break Israel’s illegal siege of Gaza.
