Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi denounced the airstrike in a post on the social media platform X, calling it a “cowardly aggression” that endangers the security of the Qatari people and all residents of the Gulf state.
“We stand in full solidarity with our brothers in Qatar and support all measures they deem necessary to defend their security, stability, and autonomy,” Safadi said, adding that Israel will persist in its aggressive policies as long as the international community does not adopt effective measures to curb these actions.
In the same context, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its strong condemnation of the attack in an official statement, asserting that it represents a violation of the United Nations Charter and an attack on the sovereignty of an Arab nation.
Ministry spokesman Sufian Majali described the action as an “unacceptable and provocative escalation” that not only threatens Qatar’s stability but also risks exacerbating conflict and violence throughout the region.
