Through the social media platform X, the Foreign Ministry of the U.S. territory reported that the Foreign Offices of those nations also called for respect for international law and international humanitarian law.
The territories also include Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Slovenia, Spain, Indonesia, Ireland, Libya, Malaysia, Maldives, Pakistan, Qatar, Oman, South Africa, and Turkey.
Two days ago, Mexico reported that it had asked Israel to respect the rights of the seven compatriots aboard the Global Sumud.
In a statement, the U.S. Ministry of Foreign Affairs recmembered that, through its embassies and consulates in the region, it has provided consular assistance to Mexicans before and during their participation in the movement.
The flotilla, an initiative involving 700 activists from more than 45 countries, including parliamentarians, doctors, and social leaders, and coordinated by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition and the Global Movement to Gaza, seeks to raise awareness about the need to stop Tel Aviv’s aggression.
