Lawmakers commented this Monday about the proposed legislation on e-commerce, savings and anti-waste, and deposit insurance (amended), in addition to adjusting the 2025 budget among ministries and central and local agencies.
The standing body of the Legislature also learned reports from the Government, the Supreme People’s Court, and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate (SPP) on the implementation of the Constitution, resolutions of the National Assembly, and the ordinances and provisions of the Committee itself.
They also heard reports summarizing the work of the President and the government during the 2021-2026 term, and on the staff work reviews.
The Standing Committee will continue its work on September 23, 25, 26, and 29, when, according to Hanoi Moi newspaper, it will comment on a government report about the handling of administrative complaints and reports in 2025, and debate the draft Planning Law (amended).
Other items will include the audit plan for 2026, the Resolution of that body of the National Assembly regulating the organization of voter assemblies, and the consultation, presentation, and preparation of candidate lists for lawmakers in Parliament and People’s Councils.
