He also advocated for the development of ties, Gonzalez, who is on a working visit to the South Asian archipelago, stated.
The ambassador expressed his gratitude for the Maldives’ continued support for Cuba’s resolution before the United Nations General Assembly against the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States against the Cuban people.
In addition to maintaining a close diplomatic relationship, Cuba and the Maldives share a desire to continue strengthening bilateral ties of friendship and cooperation, as well as contacts between their peoples.
