Gil pointed out that today we commemorate the memory of the guerrilla and revolutionary Ernesto Che Guevara and “all those fighters who fought for freedom and justice on different revolutionary fronts, for the just causes of peoples, for dignity, independence and justice”.

The Bolivarian Foreign Affairs ministry said that this day ” we are called to renew our oath to always defend, to the very end, the rights of our peoples to life and self-determination”.
