The event will be held in Costa Rica under the theme “Transforming Knowledge into Development.”
The delegation will be led by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (MESCYT), along with the country’s leading university associations, with the purpose of showcasing the progress of the Dominican model of integrated higher education, focused on innovation, sustainability, and international cooperation.
Representing Minister Franklin Garcia Fermin, the Vice Minister of International Relations, Paula Disla, emphasized that Quisqueya’s presence constitutes “an unprecedented effort to position the country in the regional education arena.”
The delegation is made up of 25 representatives from the higher education sector, including MESCYT.
The CAEI brings together authorities, academics, researchers, and international organizations to analyze trends that link knowledge with sustainable and inclusive development.
