During a gymnastics and artistic performance, the Chairman of State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) encouraged the participants and aides who contributed to the solemn celebration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the WPK by holding a military parade, a gymnastics and artistic performance, and a mass parade, the central news agency ACNC reported.

We have solemnly and perfectly celebrated the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Party amidst the extraordinarily intense passion of all the people of the country and under the profound attention of the world, the president declared.

All those gathered here, participants in the major political and cultural events, took great care to hold them successfully and made a great contribution to demonstrating the prestige of the Party and the state, he added.

Kim noted that the activities depicted the indelible revolutionary exploits of the Party with grand epic scenes, and he later attended the gymnastics and artistic performance “Long Live the Workers’ Party of Korea” with the other attendees.
