That country not only violates the rights to security and protection of Palestinian women, but also obstructs their entire path toward development and equality, Al-Khalili said, quoted by Wafa.
The minister referred to national and international reports documenting serious Israeli violations, including psychological, physical, and sexual violence, denial of medical care, arbitrary detentions, and humiliation at military checkpoints and in prisons.
Al-Khalili noted that her Ministry extended an invitation to the Special Rapporteur on Sexual Violence in Conflict, but accused the neighboring country of denying her entry twice.
She underscored the importance of continued international monitoring of this case and called for deploying a special international commission to investigate Israeli actions against women and girls.
Al-Khalili asserted that such violations are war crimes and crimes against humanity.
