Literary space presents stories of a traditional Cuba

Havana, November 8 (Prensa Latina) The traditional Saturday Book Fair presents in Havana the work “Complete Short Stories So Far (and Some Even Bleed from the Wound),” by Martha Yanez, winner of the National Literature Prize, in which tales of Cuban customs take hold of the author.

The work was published by Editorial Letras Cubanas, and the literary event was organized by the Cuban Book Institute (ICL), an institution that showcases various titles by Cuban and foreign writers every Saturday in the heart of Old Havana as part of its efforts to diversify reading.

The volume comprises a collection of short stories for adults, described by Yáñez as “stories that bleed from the wound.”

“Complete Short Stories So Far (and Some Even Bleed from the Wound)” reveals, through the narrated legends, Cuban customs, coffee plantations, nature, the land, and other real and imagined experiences of the author, the ICL highlighted.
