Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian highlighted that 155 countries, regions, and international organizations participated in the event, held in Shanghai, where 290 Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders showcased their products.

Lin Jian noted that the number of foreign exhibitors increased by more than 600 compared to the previous edition and underscored that 170 companies and 27 international institutions have continuously attended the eight editions of the event.

The spokesperson detailed that the companies presented 461 innovations in products, technologies, and services, specifying that more than 200 of these were global launches.

He noted that the volume of intentional deals exceeded 834 billion dollars.

Lin Jian quoted Premier Li Qiang’s speech on the importance of sharing opportunities with the international community.

This year’s edition of the CIIE began on November 5 and concluded on November 10 with the participation of more than 4,100 foreign companies.
