Venezuelan specialists support recovery in Santiago de Cuba (+Fotos)

Santiago de Cuba, Nov 11 (Prensa Latina) Cuba features Venezuelan specialists and technicians, along with a group of power workers, assigned to collaborate in the rehabilitation of road and bridge infrastructure damaged by Hurricane Melissa.

Cuba’s Transportation Minister Eduardo Rodriguez Davila posted this remark on his Facebook profile, where he stated that the flight from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela arrived at the Antonio Maceo Grajales International Airport in this city.

First Deputy Transportation Minister Luis Roses and Deputy Construction Minister Ricardo Carbajo Chelala, accompanied by provincial authorities, reportedly received the Venezuelan contingent.

The publication specifies that this Venezuelan technical mission aims to provide specialized assistance in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of road and bridge infrastructure in the areas most hit by Hurricane Melissa.

The document explains that the brigade includes bridge specialists, civil engineers, road maintenance experts, road construction technicians, and transportation specialists.

A group of power workers, whose experience will be key to restoring essential services, also joins.
