Raed al-Nims, spokesperson for the humanitarian organization, stated that the recent rainfall, brought by Storm Byron, destroyed more than 20,000 tents.
The spokesperson also noted that the drop in temperatures caused several deaths in the territory, which has been devastated after two years of Israeli attacks.
He warned that at least 1.5 million displaced Gazans are living without homes or places to meet their most basic needs.
Al-Nims explained that the Red Crescent Society is struggling to provide services due to limited resources resulting from the destruction and Israeli restrictions on the entry of essential aid.
The Civil Defense in Gaza also denounced in the last few hours the worsening of the humanitarian crisis following the passage of Storm Byron.
