The official statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed its sincere condolences and solidarity with the Jewish community, who were victims of “this horrendous attack” during a religious celebration.
The text reaffirmed that no form of violence against the civilian population can be justified, regardless of its motivation, origin, or context.
It stated that acts of hatred, intolerance, and terrorism “constitute serious violations of the principles of international law and the fundamental values of humanity.”
The Bolivarian Republic reiterated its commitment to peace, coexistence among peoples, and mutual respect among cultures and religions, and called for “the rejection of all expressions of violence and discrimination.”
