Harare, Jan 6 (Prensa Latina) A heartfelt tribute of honor and glory was paid by the Cuban State Mission in Zimbabwe to the 32 Cuban combatants who faced the United States military aggression against Venezuela

Ambassador Susellys Perez Mesa reiterated her strong condemnation of the aggression of the fascist empire against Venezuela, which she described as illegal, criminal, and a clear violation of the Charter of the United Nations and International Law.

The Head of Mission stressed the urgent need to mobilize all efforts to preserve international peace, especially in our region, and to prevent Washington’s attempts to reimpose the Monroe Doctrine by military force.

Perez Mesa reiterated the commitment to the Homeland, as a sacred mother that we must honor with our daily tasks and our willingness to defend it under any circumstances, in keeping with the legacy of these heroes and those who have fallen throughout history, known, unknown, and the principal architects of foreign policy, which is the dignified and courageous people.

The 32 combatants were carrying out missions representing the Revolutionary Armed Forces and the Ministry of the Interior, at the request of their Venezuelan counterparts.

The tribute to the martyrs culminated with the signing of the Commitment to the Homeland by all members of the State Mission of the Caribbean island.
