As part of their annual report, the women denounced Washington’s continued aggression against the island, evidenced for 66 years by the economic, commercial, and financial blockade.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to defending the Cuban Revolution in a context marked by the aggression against Venezuela and the continued escalation of threats from the White House against several countries. During the meeting, the FMC members urged even greater support for activities with Cuban children and youth in China.
They also called for increased representation on social media in support of the island in the face of the smear campaign and to better disseminate the progress of the Program for the Advancement of Cuban Women.
The women urged closer ties with the All-China Women’s Federation (ACWF) to deepen mutual understanding.
