Cubans and Dominicans in Puerto Plata condemn US blockade

Santo Domingo, Feb 2 (Prensa Latina) Cubans residing in the Dominican province of Puerto Plata expressed their support for Cuba in the face of the US government's executive order aimed at cutting off oil supplies and intensifying the blockade against the island.

The Cuban Consulate in this country reported through its social media that Cubans and Dominicans expressed their strong support for the Cuban people and repudiated the new measures imposed by US President Donald Trump.

The event also had profound historical significance as it took place in front of the Antonio Maceo Monument in Puerto Plata, a space that evokes the brotherhood forged in the independence struggles of Cuba and the Dominican Republic.

In this northern Dominican city, stood out solidarity and support for the Cuban cause of liberation, a legacy that is renewed today in every expression of support for the Cuban people in the face of the blockade and external aggression.
