Simultaneous protests this Sunday outside the former Roosevelt Roads Naval Base in Ceiba (east), the Santiago Camp in Salinas (south), and the Ramey Air Force Base in Aguadilla (northwest) expressed their defense of the sovereignty of nations and their repudiation of the increased US military presence in Puerto Rico.

With banners denouncing the US imperialist policies that threaten the sovereignty of nations and waving flags of Venezuela, Cuba, and Puerto Rico, the protesters expressed their rejection of the administration of US President Donald J. Trump.

As in the other locations, the protests in Aguadilla denounced the aggression of US imperialism against the Venezuelan people, the violation of the sovereignty of the Bolivarian Republic in clear disregard for international law, and the criminal kidnapping of Constitutional President Nicolas Maduro Moros and his wife, legislator Cilia Flores. Demonstrators also condemned the new sanctions announced against Cuba and the continued illegal US blockade against the Caribbean nation, which criminally affects the daily lives of the Cuban people.
