Through a message on the social network X, the Cuban leader extended his congratulations to the Central Committee and all the militants of “that sister political organization”, emphasizing that “the achievements of the Vietnamese people under the leadership of their Party constitute an indispensable reference for the process of building socialism in Cuba”.

Morales also reaffirmed “the will to continue consolidating inter-party ties, through the exchange of experiences and cooperation between the counterpart structures of both parties”.

The Communist Party of Vietnam was founded on February 3, 1930 by the national independence champion Ho Chi Minh, then identified with the alias of Nguyen Ai Quoc, as a result of a combination of Marxism-Leninism with the workers and patriotic movements.
