The arrest, the sources detailed, occurred during an Israeli patrol in the area, and the young men were taken further into the occupied territories. The reasons for their arrest and their whereabouts remain unknown.
On the same day, Israeli occupation forces incursions into several areas of Quneitra, in a further violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
According to local media, an Israeli unit consisting of four military vehicles entered the devastated city of Quneitra and advanced along the road connecting the village of Rasem Al-Rawadi with Tel Krum Jaba, before penetrating the town of al-Samdaniyah al-Sharqiyah and subsequently withdrawing.
The source added that, the previous day, Israeli forces infiltrated Jabata al-Khashab and Ufania, both towns located in the northern part of the province.
Since the departure of Bashar al-Assad’s government from power in December 2014, Israeli actions have intensified, with almost daily incursions into rural areas of Quneitra and Daraa, accompanied by arbitrary arrests and severe restrictions on the civilian population.
