In a report broadcast by Cubainformación TV and in its written format, Milagros Acea, one of FACRE’s most prominent activists, strongly condemned the new threats from the U.S. government and its president, Donald Trump, against Cuba.
For his part, Ramon Hierrezuelo stated, “We are not afraid, and I repeat the words of the Commander (Fidel Castro): we do not like being threatened.”
Meanwhile, Gustavo de la Torre asserted that “this lunatic with a gigantic ego, a racist, pedophile, xenophobe, and imperialist, doesn’t realize that his invasive fantasy about the green Cayman of the Caribbean could turn into a nightmare of headaches and indigestion.”
In turn, Claudia Gonzalez noted that Cuba is a land of peace and solidarity, sovereign and independent, and has the right to free self-determination without anyone conditioning or threatening it.
Gertrudis Brooks said that the most important thing is to defend peace, dialogue, and the sovereignty of peoples.
Likewise, Barbara Marin exoressed: “our aspirations are aligned with the Cuban Revolution, and as such, we will defend our principles at any cost.”
