China condemns terrorist attack in Pakistan

Beijing, Feb 8 (Prensa Latina) China expressed shock at the explosion in Islamabad, Pakistan, which caused numerous casualties, and condemned the attack that has left more than 30 dead.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry described the event as “deeply shocking” and conveyed its condolences to the families of the deceased.

Beijing expressed its deepest sympathy to the victims and conveyed its sincere condolences to the injured and their families.

China strongly condemned the attack and reiterated its stance against all forms of terrorism.

The Chinese government underscored its firm support for the Pakistani government’s efforts to preserve national stability and ensure the safety of its people.

In the last five years, Pakistan has registered a 32% increase in terrorist incidents, according to data from the Institute for Economics and Peace, reflecting the persistent regional threat and the importance of international cooperation on security matters.

At least 32 people have been killed and more than 160 wounded in an explosion at a mosque during Friday prayers in the capital, Islamabad, according to local authorities.

The Islamic State group (ISIS) claimed responsibility for the attack.
