Minh Chinh added that all are linked to building an independent and self-sufficient economy, deeply, flexibly, and efficiently integrated into the international community.
“This is an objective requirement of the development process, an inevitable trend of our time, and a strategic decision of our Party,” the prime minister emphasized at the launch ceremony of two emulation movements.
The head of Government pointed out that this is an important event to implement the resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) quickly, strongly, and synchronously, and aims to transform its spirit and scope into concrete actions.
The emulation movements are “Innovation, Science and Technology Development, Digital Transformation, and Green Transformation” and “Strong Development of Private Enterprises and Improvement of Efficiency in State-Owned Enterprises.”
The first movement aims to implement scientific and technological advancements, innovation, digital transformation, and green transformation to create a foundation for developing new and modern productive forces.
Meanwhile, the second one seeks to develop a modern socialist-oriented market economy and international integration, in which the state economy plays a leading role in ensuring macroeconomic stability and key balances, while the private sector is the most important driving force.
