In a summary of the first meeting of representatives of the bloc under India’s chairmanship, the diplomatic source explained that initiatives were also suggested in disaster risk reduction, the environment, climate change, energy, and innovation.
Proposals were also made in areas related to Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), security and the fight against terrorism, and the economic and financial spheres.
The Ministry specified that there was also a fruitful exchange of views on the institutional development of the group.
In line with India’s people-centered approach to the presidency, presentations were also given on cooperation in sports, youth connectivity, cultural activities, academic and civil forums, the Think Tank Council, business council, and the women’s business alliance.
