The PJS Freedoms Committee explained in a report that a significant escalation in the number and severity of violations committed against Palestinian journalists was observed during that month.
Such violations included killings, arrests, shootings, threats with weapons, obstruction of news coverage, physical assaults, attacks on media outlets, and confiscation of equipment, the report stated.
The Committee recently noted that the Israeli Army killed 63 journalists in 2025 and 256 since October 2023.
It highlighted in its annual report that most of them died in the Gaza Strip, devastated after two years of aggression.
