Cuban Ambassador to this nation, Alberto Blanco, denounced on the Guancha media outlet the escalation of the US blockade against Cuba and highlighted Beijing’s solidarity.

Blanco noted that the US administration has intensified unilateral coercive measures in the last few weeks, with a blockade on fuel supplies to Cuba.

The diplomat underscored that these actions flagrantly violate international law and the Declaration of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace.

The ambassador indicated that Cuba is making progress in its energy transition despite the imposed restrictions.

Other media outlets, such as Xinhua and The Paper, have also repeatedly reflected Cuba’s denunciation of the United States’ measures stifling the economy, as well as Beijing’s rejection of these actions.

Global Times newspaper also published last week an analysis of the US blockade against the island, the new measures aimed at blocking oil supplies to Cuba, and the condemnation from the international community.
