“We will participate in this meeting without fail, at the presidential level,” the Belarusian leader stated on the sidelines of a meeting with the State Secretary of the Union State of Russia and Belarus, Sergey Glazyev.
Lukashenko meant that the presidential summit could be held outside of Washington, “possibly somewhere in Europe or the Middle East, like Israel,” or even in Turkiye.
He added that Minsk plans to undertake serious work if it participates in the mechanism, adhering to a sovereign position, shared with Moscow.
“Of course, this position, from both Russia and Belarus, will be unified. We will develop this position because we share identical visions,” he remarked, while emphasizing the importance of not succumbing to external influences.

The initiative aims to resolve conflicts worldwide, starting with the Gaza Strip, and will be chaired for life by the President.
