The event, named Circle of Generosity for Cuba, aims to collect medicines for pediatric treatments and will be delivered to healthcare centers in the Caribbean nation.
Prensa Latina informed that donors can participate virtually or in person. Those interested should contact or visit the Ihle Habana restaurant, specializing in Cuban cuisine in downtown Bogota.
This initiative complements the collection of medicines and supplies already being conducted by the Association of Cubans, which they hope will be sent to the Psychiatric Hospital in Havana.
Among the donated medicines are some in high demand, such as antibiotics, antihistamines, and antipsychotics, as well as needles for injections and lancets for blood sampling.
The Colombian Movement of Solidarity with Cuba is currently promoting a collection campaign that includes non-perishable food, medicines, medical supplies, and electrical items.
